Allegheny Health Network (AHN) announced today an expansion of its Home Recovery Care (HRC) program that’s currently available to eligible patients at AHN Allegheny General, AHN Forbes, and AHN Jefferson Hospitals. The new model, called Home Recovery Care Plus (HRCP), delivers all the essential elements of skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation facility-level care in the comfort of a patient’s home, with a registered nurse providing monitoring care for up to 60 days following a hospital admission.

Hospice News, April 16, 2021 Moving Health Home is getting involved in hospice, having expanded to include providers Compassus, Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) and the community-based support company Contessa Health. Moving Health Home is a coalition of health care organizations that advocate for the expansion of home-based care.
